Coaches CornerThe Childress Lady Cats take the court in Holliday, falling in a 3-0 matchup against the Lady Eagles with sets of 25-11, 25-12 and 25-14. Currently, the Lady Cats are competing in the Graham Tournament, which began Thursday, Aug. 21 and spans through Saturday, Aug. 23.

Childress Lady Cat volleyball is taking the court, having already played games against Borger, Brock, Holliday, Pampa, Quanah, Vernon and White Deer. Next, the Lady Cats will compete in the Shallowater Tournament, held Friday, Aug. 15-Saturday, Aug. 16 in Shallowater.

Memphis ISD hosts Back to School Bash, Meet the Cyclones

The Red River Sun/Elizabeth TannerMemphis Independent School District (ISD) welcomes back students during the annual Back to School Bash, followed by Meet the Cyclones, Friday, Aug. 8 at Memphis City Park. Students returned to campus for the official first day of school Tuesday, Aug. 12.
