CHILDRESS — Childress Elementary School students, ranging from prekindergarten through fifth grade, are able to Adopt-a-Bobcat this year.“Childress student in incoming grades prekindergarten-fifth can adopt a Bobcat varsity football player for the 2024 season,” Bobcat Booster Karen Rodriguez said.

Wellington Aquatic Venue (WAV) staff and lifeguards served their final day of the 2024 season Sunday, Aug. 4. “Another successful season is in the books,” said Manager Joe Ponder. “I’m thankful for these young adults. They are one of the best groups I’ve had in a while.
