WELLINGTON – Each spring, the Glynn Moore Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 6439 Auxiliary encourages principals to nominate a teacher for the Smart/ Maher VFW National Citizenship Education Teacher Award.
Announced during the Wellington High School (WHS) Academic and All-Sports Awards Ceremony at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, May 12 in the WHS auditorium, Lana Tillman received the honor for 2024-2025.
