Childress Happenings  ALL-SCHOOL REUNIONAll Childress High School alumni are invited to the Childress County All-School Reunion, sponsored by the Childress Chamber of Commerce, Friday, Sept. 19-Saturday, Sept. 20. Registration will take place from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Assisted by organizer Darrell Colson, Steven Boone, reenacting Confederate General Robert E. Lee, explains life during the American Civil War to area students during the 2024 Living History Weekend at Powell Park in Wellington. Hosted by the Sons of Confederate Veterans Charles Goodnight Frontier Reg. Camp #2280, the 2025 event will again take place Friday-Saturday, Oct. 3-4 at Wellington’s Powell Park on Hwy 83.
