Skyrockets garner all-district baseball team selections

WELLINGTON – Finishing the 2025 season as area finalists, the Wellington Skyrockets landed nine players on District 2-2A All-District baseball teams, including senior TJ Salinas, selected as Most Valuable Player, and freshman Alex Orozco, selected as Pitcher of the Year.

WELLINGTON – Surrounded by his family and witnessed by the Wellington High School (WHS) coaches, student body and staff, senior DeMarcus Lewis signed a National Letter of Intent on Tuesday morning, May 6 to transition from a Skyrocket to a Langston University Lion as a member of its track team.
