On Friday, May 8, Wellington Elementary School first-fifth-grade Sparklers who earned over 50 Accelerated Reading (AR) points boarded the Skyrocket bus for a trip to Wonderland Amusement Park in Amarillo. Tuesday, June 2, a Piper Saratoga, flying out of Arizona, stopped in for fuel, and a Bell 206 helicopter dropped in for fuel while working in the area. An R44 helicopter fueled up, and a Cessna 182 came in for fuel on its way to Oklahoma.
