Brandon James Pierson, 41, of Memphis, Texas, died Wednesday, March 22, 2023, in Memphis.
Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at the First Baptist Church in Memphis with Dr. Thomas Darter officiating. Viewing took place Wednesday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation and arrangements were by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis.
Brandon James Pierson was born on Dec. 19, 1981, in Memphis, to Earl and Mary Pierson. He married Desary Pierson on Feb. 11, 2005.
There was nothing Brandon enjoyed more than taking care of his family. He also enjoyed taking car rides around town, cooking, baking, watching wrestling and, especially, attending his kids school events.
A hard-working man that worked long hours, Brandon provided a great life for his family. He was a devoted CDL Truck Driver that worked for Equity Exchange for the last 10 years. He was also a licensed life insurance agent.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl Pierson and Mar y Pierson.
Survivors include his wife, Desary Pierson, of 18 years, of Memphis; his son, Brandon Pierson, of Memphis; his daughter, Keona Pierson, of Memphis; his siblings, Evelyn Richardson and husband Tony, of Irving, Texas, Derrick Pierson and wife Kelli, of Grove, Okla., Lasheria Johnson and husband Glen, of Memphis, and Roshanda Pierson, of Memphis; as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
