Thomas Wolf, 61, of Hollis, Okla., passed away Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2025.

From 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2025, Thomas’ family and friends celebrated his life at the Hollis Expo Center with a casual come-andgo get-together. Scott Porter served as celebrant. Arrangements were by Adams Funeral Home, of Wellington, Texas.

Thomas was born in Wellington on Feb. 27, 1963, to John and Bethine Adkins Wolf.

Being the youngest of five siblings, Thomas was spoiled by his older sister, Sue, and enjoyed tagging along with his older brothers. As a youngster, he helped on the family farm, where he developed his love of agriculture.

During high school, Thomas led the FFA chapter as president and was honored to receive the Lone Star Farmer degree. He graduated from Wellington High School in 1981 and went on to attend various diesel mechanic schools. Through his trade, Thomas became one of the top diesel mechanics in Southwest Oklahoma and North Texas, working at Dixon- Kirchoff in Hollis.

On Nov. 20, 1982, Thomas married the love of his life, Patricia Turner. Thomas and Patti created their home together in Hollis.

They have two daughters. Elizabeth came along in 1984, and Jennifer completed their family in 1987. Thomas and Patti were blessed to spend 42 years of marriage together.

After retiring, Thomas enjoyed spending time with his family and watching old western movies. He was the proud “Pa” of five granddaughters, a great- grandson and a great-granddaughter.

Thomas also cherished his long-time friendships with Roland Gregersen and Raymond Pendergraft.

Thomas was proceeded in death by his father, John; mother Bethine Estes; stepfather JC Estes; sister Janet Carol Wolf; and brothers James Wolf and Robert Wolf.

He is survived by his loving wife, Patti, of Hollis; daughters Elizabeth and Calvin Ross, of Hollis, and Jennifer Wolf, of Altus, Okla.; sister Sue and Kenneth Porter, of Altus, Okla.; sister-in-law Tina and Mike Howard, of Wellington; granddaughters Shayna Wolf, of Roosevelt, Okla., Brooklynn Ross, of Stillwater, Okla., Amerie Ross, of Altus, Okla., Lyllian Ross, of Altus, and Maya Ross, of Hollis,; great-grandchildren Cloud and Blossom Jones, of Roosevelt; grandpup Knox; and numerous nephews and nieces.
