Tommy Lee Williams, 70, of Estelline,Texas, died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2025, in Lubbock, Texas.

Services took place at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 17, 2025, in the First Baptist Church in Memphis with Rev. Anthony Knowles and District Missionary Sonja Oates officiating. Visitation was held from 4-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.Cremation and arrangements were by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis.

Tommy Lee Williams was born Aug. 26, 1954, in Big Sandy, Texas, to Theo and Lou Ella Brown Williams. He married Charlsie Weathered on Dec. 28, 1971, in Hall County,Texas.

He was a lifetime resident of Estelline. Tommy enjoyed working and was a very hard worker. He had worked as farmer, for BNSF Railroad for 35 years and for the City of Estelline for six years. Working was his life.

Tommy never met a stranger, and he always said the phrases “stuck like Chuck” and “I haven’t eaten in three days.” He will be deeply missed by his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Joe Lee Williams; and a sister, Mary Ann Drew.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Charlsie Williams, of Estelline; his sons,Thomas Lynn Williams and Jamie Lee Williams, both of Amarillo, Texas; his daughters,Kristy Lanita Williams and Janie Ann Williams, both of Amarillo; his brothers,Theo Williams Jr.,of Estelline,and Ivory Williams, of Amarillo; his sisters, Mary Lee Acosta, of Amarillo, Ella Mae Drew, of Estelline, and Pearlie Ann Harris, of Estelline; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
