Blake Luna, 17, of Wellington, Texas, passed away Monday, Oct. 3, 2022.
Memorial services took place at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 7, 2022, at the First United Methodist Church with Jermaine Cantu, Campus Pastor of Wellington Trinity Fellowship, officiating. Justin Mixon performed two special tributes. Arrangements were by Adams Funeral Home, of Wellington.
Blake was born on Sept. 19, 2005, in Childress, Texas to Michael Luna and Cara Blevins and was a member of the sophomore class at Wellington High School.
A member of Trinity Fellowship, Blake worked at Market Square Supermarkets. He enjoyed working on cars and hanging out with his friends.
He is survived by his father, Michael Luna; his mother, Cara Blevins; two brothers, Luke and Lewis Luna; two sisters, Bailee and Brooklyn Luna; a nephew, Greyson Luna; his grandparents,Mona Granados and her husband, Jerry, all of Wellington, and Cindy Boyett and her husband, Dewayne, of Amarillo, Texas; and great-grandparents Brenda Barton and Roy Jeffrey and Joe Ortiz, all of Wellington.
The family suggests that memorials be made to the Blake Luna Memorial Fund at Wellington State Bank.
