Joseph Wilson Sanderson “Joe Pep,” 62, was born Aug. 22, 1962. Joe was born in Phoenix, Ariz., and then, relocated in Dodson, Texas, when the family moved there.
Joe graduated from Wellington High School in 1980. He worked there with the football team, and he was known as “Joe Pep.” After high school, Joe worked with his father in the farming business. Joe enjoyed camping and the outdoors.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Geneva and Tom Sanderson, and his sisters, Wyonna Sanderson and LaVella Luecking.
Joe is survived by his sister, Katie Taylor, of Dodson, and his brothers, Gawain Sanderson, of Hollis, Okla., and Walter Sanderson, of Collingsworth County, Texas.
Interment will be at Dodson Cemetery in Dodson.
