Lesa Wadley, 62, of Wellington, Texas, passed away on Monday, Aug. 19, 2024.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 23, 2024, at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Harry Stallings, retired Baptist minister, officiating. Arrangements are by Adams Funeral Home of Wellington.
She was born June 27, 1962, in Wellington, to R. L. and Allene McBroom Johnson.
Lesa graduated from Wellington High School in 1980 and attended Amarillo College.
If you asked her what her job was, she’d say, “I’m a cook.”She had worked in the dietary departments of the Parkview Manor Assisted Living and Wellington Care Center since returning to Wellington in 2003.
Lesa attended the Trinity Fellowship Church when able.If she had a hobby,it was listening to rock music.
Lesa was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Donna Martin.
Her survivors include her daughter,Amber Wadley and Tony Kuhnle, of Summerville, S.C.; a son, Jeff Wadley and wife Kasey, of Wellington; her brother-in-law, Leon Martin, of Dalhart, Texas; a nephew, Kevin Martin, of Dalhart; four grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Wellington Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 323, Wellington, TX 79095.
