Lois Lucas, 82, of Wellington, Texas, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2023, in Amarillo, Texas.
Graveside services took place at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6, 2023, in North Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Roger Comstock, pastor of the First Pentecostal Church in Cheyenne, Okla., officiating. Arrangements were by Adams Funeral Home of Wellington.
She was born Dec. 4, 1940, in El Reno, Okla., to Walter Lee and Gladys Dougherty Comstock.
Lois married Joe Lucas on April 8, 1956, in Seminole, Texas. They came to Wellington from McLean, Texas in 1995. He preceded her in death in 2009. She later married Wayne Parker in 2013 in Wellington. He preceded her in death in 2018.
She was a homemaker and attended Full Gospel Churches.
Lois was also preceded in death by her parents; grandsons Walter Lucas, II and Jeremy Lewis; and by two great-grandsons, Ben and Brandon Lewis.
Her survivors include three sons, Jake Lucas and Walter Lucas and his wife, Cathlene, both of Wellington, and Steve Lucas and his wife, Jeannie, of Shamrock, Texas; a sister, Aunt Pat; 15 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
