Uvon Marilyn Todd, 90, of Memphis, Texas, died Saturday, Dec. 21, 2024, in Childress, Texas.
Services took place at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 27, 2024, in the Memphis Church of Christ with Jim Dixon officiating. Burial followed in Fairview Cemetery in Memphis. Viewing was held Thursday, Dec. 26 at the funeral home. Arrangements were by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis, Texas.
Uvon was born April 26, 1934, in Burns Flat, Okla. to Allen and Beth Beck Hall. She married John Gordan Todd on July 8, 2002, in Lubbock, Texas. She had worked as a bank teller early in her adult life, then was a housewife and mother.
A resident of Memphis the last 22 years, Uvon enjoyed traveling, shopping, going out to eat and doing yardwork at her house. She attended the Memphis Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her
brother, Allen Hall; her sisters, Hazel McLaughlin and Doris Eckroat; and her twin sister, Evon McCabe.
Survivors include her husband, John Todd, of Memphis; her son, Ron Heidebrecht and wife Cindy, of Georgetown, Texas; a step-son, Chris Todd, of Amarillo, Texas; a step daughter, Barbara Czosnek and husband Chris, of Amarillo; nine grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
The family request memorials be sent to the Memphis Church of Christ or Childress Regional Medical Center Hospice.
