Laverne (Ware) Hiett, 92, left this earth July 3, 2024, in Borger, Texas. She was born Jan. 7, 1932, in Littlefield, Texas, to Emett and Annie Ware.Laverne graduated from Wellington High School in 1950. She was a dedicated homemaker, bookkeeper and floral assistant.

Dorothy F. Roberson, 92, of Wellington, Texas, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2024.Graveside services took place at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 11, 2024, at North Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Ronnie Lambert, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial followed the service.

A Memorial Service for Nancy Fuston, 72, of Childress, will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 12, 2024, at Childress First Presbyterian Church. A visitation will be held prior to the service at the church. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
