Wellington athletes state bound
The Childress Lady Cats ended their historical season in the area round, falling to the Coahoma Bulldogettes in a 5-1 final Saturday, May 2 in Stamford. Lady Cats end historic season
Childress Lady Cats Addi Edmondson, second-team selection, and Journey Prince, Honorable Mention, are selected to the Texas High School Coaches Association Academic All-State softball teams. To be nominated for Academic All-State, a student must be an athlete, student trainer or manager in good standing with the team; of good moral character; a senior; and have an overall grade point average of 92 or above.
