Childress Elementary TPO to host Parents’ Night Out

The Childress Elementary School (CES) Teacher-Parent Organization (TPO) will host a Parents’ Night Out Movie Night, featuring “The Grinch,” from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13 in the CES gymnasium. Entry is $10 per child, with $5 per additional sibling. All schoolaged children are welcome to attend.

WELLINGTON – A seasoned artist with a mixed portfolio collection, from portraits to animals and wildlife, and landscapes to cowboys and ranch life, Collingsworth County resident Alesia “Lisa” Freeland recently completed her “Veteran’s Tribute” project.
Wellington High School (WHS) Student Council, including WHS freshman Ava Peters, traveled to Dallas on Wednesday, Dec. 3 to attend a leadership event at the American Airlines Center, featuring several Dallas Maverick executive speakers. To top off the trip, the students and sponsors watched the Dallas Mavericks take on Miami Heat before the return trip, arriving home in the early morning hours of Thursday, Dec. 4.
