Texas Parks & Wildlife Department approves matching grant for renovation of Wellington’s Ellison Park

WELLINGTON – “The Ellison Park Working Group is very excited to announce that on Thursday, Jan. 22, the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department (TPWD) officially awarded a matching grant of $608,966 for the renovation of Ellison Park,” exclaimed committee chairman Neal Odom. “This is a match to the funds the community previously raised, and to the funds the City of Wellington previously committed.”
