CHILDRESS – The Childress City Council will consider its tax rate for fiscal year 20262027 during a called meeting next Tuesday, Sept. 8, at 6 p.m. in City Hall.
The council is considering a tax rate of $0.823012 per $100 valuation as it continues working on its budget for the coming year. The proposed rate is $0.01633 lower than the current tax rate.
