Downtown Wellington mural reveals history highlights

WELLINGTON – Estimating the tallest part of the 915 West Ave. structure on the right side at 20-21 feet, well-known muralist Malcom Byers advised that he likely used around 200 cans of spray paint on the 115-foot-wide mural.
“I’m pretty sure that is the most cans I’ve ever used on a single mural,” Byers said. “I was amazed by how many empty cans I kept tossing away into the nearby dumpster.”
