The Childress District of the Texas Department of Transportation celebrates Kids Day 2026, welcoming employees to bring a little mentor for fun, hands-on learning activities. Children visited Transportation, Planning and Design to see how projects get started, explored the lab to learn what it takes to build and maintain roads, checked out equipment and learned about traffic signs through Traffic Sign Bingo, as well as picked up important traffic safety tips along the way.
