WELLINGTON – With Powell Park as the setting, a traditional School Day will take place Friday, Oct. 6 and the Chili Cookoff and Ice Cream Freeze-Off will be held Saturday, Oct. 7. The public is invited both days. Activities will begin around 9 a.m. each day according to organizer Darrell Colson.
