MEMPHIS — The Memphis Lions Club will host the 70th Annual Park Opener at 6 p.m. Friday, May 8 at Memphis City Park.At the event, Lions will serve barbecue hamburgers, ranch style beans and iced tea, as well as host a drawing for door prizes donated by local businesses.

WHS declares honor graduates

WELLINTON – Among 36 seniors, Noah Cantu and Rylyn Colson have been declared the Wellington High School (WHS) Class of 2026 Valedictorian and Salutatorian. Commencement ceremonies will take place at 7 p.m. Friday, May 8 on Powell Field at Skyrocket Stadium.
