Cruisers car show added to Hall Picnic

MEMPHIS - The first Charity Cruisers Car Show will be held September 19, 2026, following the annual Hall County Picnic parade.This will be an exciting new addition and offer the opportunity to show off your ride.

Childress council to hold called session on tax rate

CHILDRESS – The Childress City Council will consider its tax rate for fiscal year 20262027 during a called meeting next Tuesday, Sept. 8, at 6 p.m. in City Hall.The council is considering a tax rate of $0.823012 per $100 valuation as it continues working on its budget for the coming year.
