Wellington Methodist Women to host Fall Bazaar

Courtesy GraphicSet for 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1, the Wellington Methodist Women will host the annual Fall Bazaar at the Fellowship Hall, 911 Bowie St. The quilt will be on display, and raffle tickets will be sold for $5 each or five for $20. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

CHILDRESS — The 2025 Vance L. “Huck” Castleberry and Terry L. Keener awards were presented during the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Childress District’s annual Safety Banquet and Wellness Fair on Friday, Oct. 24.

CHILDRESS — An estimated 600 trick-or-treaters will hit the bricks of downtown Childress from 5:30-7 p.m. this Halloween, Friday, Oct. 31, during Childress Chamber of Commerce’s annual Downtown Trick-or-Treating event.

WELLINGTON – Early voting for the Constitutional Amendment Election began Monday, Oct. 20 and continues through Friday, Oct. 31. Early voters may cast their ballot at the clerk’s office in the Collingsworth County Courthouse during the hours of 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Extended hours are offered from 7 a.m.
