TxDOT to begin safety improvement project

CHILDRESS — According to the Childress District of the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), motorists traveling along U.S. 287 in Kirkland will soon see construction begin on several safety improvements designed to enhance visibility, improve traffic flow and support continued growth in the area.

The project is being fully funded through a private donation agreement with adjacent landowners.
