Funeral services for Wanda Arnold, 83, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2022, at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with John Taylor officiating and Scott Rektenwald assisting. Burial followed in Carey Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
She passed away Nov. 12, 2022, in Lubbock, Texas.
Wanda was born July 20, 1939, in Glenpool, Okla. to Robert Wesley Taylor and Maxine Faye Taylor.
She loved to cook and bake and would take goodies to her neighbors on holidays. She loved genealogy and loved Christmas and Easter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Arnold; her parents; and a brother-in-law, Leroy Springer.
Survivors include son Gary Chilcoate and wife Linda, of Lake Tapps, Wash.; daughter Cathy VanGilder and husband Paul, of Lubbock; daughter Cindy York and husband Robert, of Lubbock; son Mike Arnold and wife Tina, of San Angelo, Texas; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother Robert Taylor Jr. and wife Nancy, of Arkansas; brother John Taylor and wife Becky, of Meridian, Texas; and sister Phyllis Springer, of Colorado Springs, Colo.
