Jose Morin, 23, of Memphis, Texas, died Sunday, April 9, 2023, in Memphis.
Rosary was said at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 13, 2023 in Robertson Funeral Directors Heritage Chapel in Memphis. Mass was celebrated at 1 p.m. Friday, April 14, 2023, in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Memphis with Rev. John Sangabathini as the celebrant. Burial followed in Fairview Cemetery in Memphis. Arrangements were by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis.
Jose was born Nov. 1, 1999, in Amarillo,Texas, to Arcadio Morin and Oralia Saenz. He had been a lifetime resident of Memphis.
His hobbies included powerlifting and cooking, and he loved talking on the phone with family. Jose was always friendly and respectful to everyone. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Memphis.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Survivors include his mother, Oralia “Beba” Saenz, of Memphis; his father, Arcadio Morin Jr., of Rio Grande City, Texas; a brother, Arcadio Morin III, of Memphis; a sister, Jessica Morin, of Memphis; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; one niece and one nephew; and his grandmother, Saenz.
