ELMER WAYNE REYNOLDS JR
Wayne Reynolds Jr., 73, of Wellington, Texas, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2023.
Graveside services took place at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Gene Weinette, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating. Arrangements were by Adams Funeral Home of Wellington.
He was born on Sept. 13, 1949, in Wellington, to Elmer Wayne and Eddye Allene Brewster Reynolds.
Elmer graduated from Wellington High School in 1970. He retired from farming and ranching in 2005.
He was a member of the First Methodist Church.
Elmer was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, June Jones; and by a greatgreat- niece, Emma Preston.
He is survived by three nephews, Darren Jones and Brent Jones, both of Wellington, and Bruce Jones and his wife, Cricket, of Shamrock, Texas; a great-niece, Natasha Preston and her husband, Chandler, of Dumas, Texas; four great-nephews, Billie Hicks and his wife, Crystal, and Alfie Seely, both of Childress, Texas, Richard Seely, of Logan, N.M., and Wiley Seely, of Shamrock; two greatgreat- nieces, Fallon Preston and Anna Seely; and two great-great-nephews, Grayson Preston and Wayne Seely.
The family suggests that donations be made to the Collingsworth County Home Delivered Meals Program, P.O. Box 228, Wellington, TX 79095.
