Dale Miller, 75, of Memphis, Texas, died Tuesday, July 23, 2024, in Memphis.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 26, 2024, in Red Marble Ministries Church in Memphis with Rev. Brett Prince and Tim Sparks officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Memphis. Viewing was held Thursday with the family receiving friends for visitation from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis.

DalewasbornMay8,1949, in Dodson, Texas to Dwaine David and Mary Underwood Miller. He was a 1967 graduate of Caprock High School in Amarillo, Texas and attended Draughons Business College from 1967-1968. He married Sharon Kay Melton on Oct. 9, 1979, in Dodson.

Dale had been a resident of Memphis since 1980. He started in the oilfield business in 1967 and retired in 2018. He worked for various drilling contractors and operators, as well as was the owner of DMIC (Dale Miller Independent Consultants) in Memphis and Global Well Control for several years. Dale also founded Dason in Memphis, which he had owned and operated for several years, and Millwood Properties.

He founded Red Marble Ministries Church in 2001 and was the Pastor until his passing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dwaine David Miller and Mary C. Miller; his sister, Maxine Miller; his brother, Jerry Miller; and a son, Roger Dale Miller.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon; his sons, David Brian Miller and wife Marsha Diane and Craig Dunlap; a daughter, Angela Miller Bass and husband William; his half-sisters, Melissa Miller and Teresa Miller; his grandchildren, John David Miller, Steven Parker Miller, Matthew Dale James Miller, Justin Dale Braddock and wife McKenzie, Sawyer Dunlap, and Samuel Dunlap; his great-grandchildren, Keith Landon Miller and Claire Marie Braddock; his sisterin- law, Sue Sparks and husband Tim; his brother-in-law, Jimmy Melton and wife Pam; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
