CHILDRESS — Meeting Monday, March 24, the City of Childress City Council approved the entrance to Stage 4 of the Water Shortage Condition and Drought Contingency Plan, effective Tuesday, April 1.
With Greenbelt Lake currently 9% full, Greenbelt Water Authority approved moving into Stage 4 at their meeting Tuesday, March 18, according to Greenbelt Water Authority’s Phillip Self.
