Clifton R. Lee, 80, of Canyon,Texas,passed away on Friday, Oct. 3, 2025. Graveside services took place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8 at Dreamland Cemetery. Memorial services followed at 11 a.m. at Living Water Christian Fellowship in Canyon, with Pastor Shane Nease officiating. The family received friends from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 7 at Brooks Chapel. The family entrusted Clifton’s services to Brooks Funeral Directors of Canyon.
Clifton was born on Oct. 31, 1944, in Wellington, Texas, to Carroll Raymond and Osa Agnes Boyles Lee. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving from 1963 to 1967 during the Vietnam War.
He married Kathy Davis on Sept. 16, 1989, in Amarillo, Texas. They were married for almost 30 years before she preceded him in death on April 11, 2019.
They moved to Canyon in 1999 and served as faithful members of Living Water Christian Fellowship. He retired from Pantex after 23 and a half years.
Clifton enjoyed woodworking and could repair anything. He had a passion for his hot rods, and his love for his dog, Missy, came second only to his love for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom he adored spending time with.
Clifton was also preceded in death by his parents; stepdaughter Amber Linville; four brothers, Eddie Joe “Jody” Lee, Bobby Ray Lee, Carroll Wayne “Doe Doe” Lee and Gary Franklin Lee; and a sister, Rosa Fleming.
Survivors include his son, Shane Lee and wife Keisha, of Silverton, Texas; daughter Ami Lynn, of Silverton; stepdaughters, Nicole Miller and husband Charlie, of Odessa, Texas, and Reagan Tuman and husband Ron, of Lemoore, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three siblings, Jerry Lee, of Amarillo, and Pat Roberson and Beverly Ray both, of Wellington.
The family suggests memorials be to Living Water Christian Fellowship, 10100 U.S. Hwy 60, Canyon, TX 79015, or to VFW Post 430, PO Box 417, Canyon, TX 79015.
