Graveside services for Donna Perkins, 68, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2022, at the Childress Cemetery with Dr. Mike Henderson officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11 from at Johnson Funeral Home.
Donna Lynn Springer was born July 4, 1954, in Hale Center, Texas to Robert and Mary Springer, and the family moved to Big Spring, Texas. Donna married the love of her life, John M. Perkins, April 3, 1976.
Donna enjoyed playing cards, dominos and Yahtzee. She loved watching “Dr. Who” and “Dancing with the Stars.” She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is finally reunited with her husband, John. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby and Mary Springer, and her husband, John.
She leaves behind a son, Johnnie Lee Perkins, of Childress, Texas; a daughter, Sara and husband Josh Prater; and grandchildren Johnnie, Kaitlyn and Haley, Kendalyn, Ethan and Keaton.
