Gloria Webster, 66, of Childress, Texas, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2026.

Funeral services took place at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 25, 2026, at the Calvary Baptist Church with Dr. Mike Henderson and Rev. Terry Williams, pastor, officiating. Burial followed in Childress Cemetery. The family entrusted arrangements to Adams Funeral Home of Wellington.

Martin Clifton, Kevin Moore, Joseph Webster, Nick Webster, Maycin Smothermon, James Davis, Jeremy Moomow, Thomas Freeman, and Jared Dill served as pallbearers.

Gloria was born on Dec. 4, 1959, in Childress, to Alan “Butch” and Betty Martin Clifton and attended school in Childress.

She married her high school sweetheart, Joey Webster, on May 27, 1976, in Childress. After working a short time outside the home, she became a fulltime homemaker, fulfilling her favorite roll of all “Nana” and devoting her time to serving others in any way she could.

Gloria loved working in her yard and gardening. She definitely had a green thumb. She was artsy and crafty, becoming an accomplished artist in her own right.

She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents.

Her survivors include her husband, Joey, of Childress; her daughter, Ericka Moore and husband Kevin, of Childress; her son, Joseph Webster and wife Emma, of Amarillo; a special niece, Angela Adams and husband Larry, of Wellington; very special cousins, James Davis and wife Carol, of Amarillo; six grandchildren, Nick Webster and wife Emily, of Childress, Maycin Smothermon and Camryn Webster, both of Amarillo, Bella Moore, of Childress, Brittany He and husband HaoWei, of Allen, and Matraca Toro, of Childress; six great-grandchildren, Wiley Webster, Blake and Crawford He, Olivia, Timothy, and Lucy Toro; her brother, Martin Clifton, of Lubbock; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Gloria’s memory be made to We Can Care of Childress.
