Kenneth Daryl “Joe” Ritchie, 61, of Howardwick, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025, in Memphis, Texas.
Graveside services took place at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 7, 2025, at Lakeview Cemetery. Arrangements were under the care of Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon, Texas.
He was born on June 7, 1964, in Amarillo,Texas, to William “Bill” Ira Ritchie and Rebecca “Becky” Francise (Spencer) Ritchie. Kenneth graduated in Lakeview, Texas, where he pursued a career in farming and mechanizing. Joe developed a love for working with his hands, and he spent much of his life pursuing these passions.
Joe will forever be known for his kind heart and caring personality. Friends and loved ones always enjoyed surrounding themselves around him to hear his free-spirited sense of humor.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Chandace Ritchie; three brothers, Billy Jack, Ronnie and Donnie Ritchie; granddaughter Chole Hudson; and three sisters, Lorrie Shipp, Nelda Jones and Wilma Mestas.
He is survived by his children, Corey Ritchie, of Howardwick, and Chasity Hudson and husband Wade, of Virginia; grandchildren Trystan Ritchie, Jase Ritchie and Kallie Hudson; brother Bobbie Ritchie, of Memphis; and numerous nieces and nephews.
