Ramiro Rey Perez, 30, of Wellington, Texas, passed away Sunday, Oct. 8, 2023.
A funeral mass was said at noon Friday, Oct. 13, 2023, at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church with Fr. Anthony Kowtiki as celebrant. A rosary took place at 11 a.m., prior to the mass. Burial followed in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements were by Adams Funeral Home of Wellington, Texas.
Born on June 23, 1993, in Epitacio Huerta, Michoacan, Mexico, Ramiro graduated from Wellington High School in 2012 and from Clarendon College in 2018.
He served as a welder at the solar farm near Childress while it was being built and had worked at Dollar General in Wellington.
Ramiro was a member of the Catholic Church.
He is survived by his mother, Maria Teresa Perez; and his nine siblings, Martin, Carmen, Pablo, Jorge, Pedro, Raquel, Salvador, Juan and Santiago Perez.
