Body

Robert Wayne Stotts, age 52, of Saint Jo, Texas, passed away in his home on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024. Robert was born to the late Richard Stotts, of Clarendon, Texas, and Brenda Boykin Brown, of Paducah, Texas, on Dec. 16, 1971. He was a graduate of Paducah High School in 1989. Robert drove a cattle truck for many years and shared a love of Peterbilts and trucking. He was also a self-employed welder and cattle rancher. He never met a stranger and was sure to make a friend anywhere he went; he always had an ornery grin and a joke to be shared.

Robert married Kristina Schenk Stotts on Sept. 13, 2014.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Wayne Stotts.

He is survived by his wife, Kristina Schenk-Stotts, of Saint Jo; mother Brenda Boykin Brown, of Paducah; daughter Hali and husband Jerron Davis, of Gainesville, Texas; son Bo and wife Kaitlyn Davis, of Portland, Ore.; and daughter Hannah and husband Trevor Moore, of Throckmorton, Texas, as well as three granddaughters, Jali Davis, Moralynn Moore and Tatum Moore, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Saint Jo Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 638, Saint Jo, TX 76265. There will be a celebration of Robert’s life held at the Rusty Nail, located on the square in Saint Jo, from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17.
