Shelly Dawn Molina, 53, of Wellington, Texas, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2024, in Amarillo,Texas.

Graveside services took place at 3 p.m. Monday, April 8, 2024, at North Fairview Cemetery with Michael Breedlove, of the Trinity Fellowship Church, officiating. Arrangements were by Adams Funeral Home of Wellington.

She was born on Jan. 21, 1971, in Lubbock, Texas, to Glenn and Jane Orr Thomas.

Shelly graduated from Wellington High School in 1988 and attended Amarillo College.

She married Geronimo Molina, Jr. on March 20, 2004, in Las Vegas, Nev.

Shelly served as a deputy clerk in the Collingsworth

County and District Clerk’s office for many years, then became the secretary at the First Methodist Church and later at Bluebonnet Home Health & Hospice.

She was a member of the First Methodist Church.

Shelly was preceded in death by her mother, Jane Manuel.

She is survived by her husband, Geronimo, son Brayson Molina and stepdaughter Katelyne Molina, all of Wellington; stepdaughter Magen Saunders and husband Callie, of Childress, Texas; her father and stepmom, Glenn Thomas and wife Irma, of Wellington; a sister, Holly Antle and husband Christopher, of Wichita Falls, Texas; two stepbrothers, Bryan Kemp and wife Rachel and Colin Kemp and wife Carle, both of Wellington; and several nieces and nephews.

The family request that memorials be made to Collingsworth County Home Delivered Meals or the Wellington Cemetery Association.
