WELLINGTON – La Paisana Chapter of the Daughters of the American (DAR) Revolution proudly presented its 2026 Good Citizen Award to Noah Cantu. The event took place at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 15 at First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.

WELLINGTON – Local 4-H and FFA youth highlighted their livestock show projects during the 2026 Collingsworth County Livestock Show (CCLS), beginning with the goat show at 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 17 at Wellington Fairgrounds.
Making the rounds to measure levels of 166 area wells, the Mesquite Groundwater Conservation District staff began the task last week with a goal of having the data collected by mid-February.
